 TIE & DYE

Tie dyeing is great way to make their own unique and colorful t-shirts, bed sheet etc. The variety of dye can be used in tie dying, including household, ready-made dye(reactive, acid and vat dye). Now these days readymade dye liquid available in market according to the fabric. I'm sharing with you few famous technique.

 Technique for Tie & Dye the Fabric

Swirl Technique: Lay T-shirt flat. Hold a fork on the center of the shirt and twist.

        Wrap 4 to 6 rubber bands or thread around the shirt and apply dye liquid. Put the fabric in plastic bag and leave it at least 4 hours.

Crumple Technique: Scrunch fabric into a crumpled mound. Apply desired amount of dye. Carefully flip crumpled fabric over and add dye to backside.

Shibori Technique:A. Roll fabric around a nonabsorbent tube such as a PVC pipe.

 B. Tightly scrunch both side of fabric toward center and secure ends with rubber bands.

 C. Apply dye to fabric, rotating tube as necessary to saturate fabric.

 D. Add number of dye as you want a effect.

Other Tie Dye Technique: Tie dye heart pattern, Stripes, Small circle, Bullseye tie dye, Unicorn tie Dye, Sunburst, Ombre etc.
